Chef Jason Jones brings a wealth of global experience and a passion for bold, authentic flavours to the Sundowner Beach Party. From leading the kitchen at the Cannes Film Festival for nearly a decade to launching award-winning restaurants in Melbourne, Singapore, and now Noosa, his culinary journey has been anything but ordinary.
As the co-founder of Melbourne’s iconic Mamasita, Jason played a key role in shaping Australia’s modern Mexican dining scene before expanding his vision internationally with a series of successful venues in Singapore. In 2022, he brought his expertise back to Australia, launching Bandita in Noosaville—a lively eatery known for its fresh, flavour-packed take on Mexican cuisine.
With a signature style that combines vibrant ingredients with refined technique, Jason’s dishes are made for long, sun-drenched afternoons and good times by the beach—making him a perfect fit for the Sundowner Beach Party lineup.
Bringing a bold and immersive approach to the Sundowner Beach Party, Michelin-starred chef Jake Kellie is known for his mastery of fire-driven cooking and refined technique. As the co-owner and executive chef of Adelaide’s acclaimed arkhé, he has established himself as a leader in contemporary Australian dining, crafting dishes that balance precision with a raw, elemental edge.
Originally from the NSW Central Coast, Jake’s career has taken him across the globe, shaping his culinary philosophy in some of the world’s most renowned kitchens. His time as head chef at Singapore’s Burnt Ends saw the restaurant climb the ranks of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants, earning its first Michelin star. Along the way, he has worked alongside industry greats like Heston Blumenthal, Brett Graham, Scott Pickett, and Matt Moran, refining his expertise in high-impact, flavour-driven cuisine.
With a passion for exceptional produce and an uncompromising approach to flavour, Jake’s dishes are bold, exciting, and full of character—making him the perfect fit for an unforgettable Sundowner Beach Party experience
