FAQS

THE FESTIVAL VILLAGE

WHERE WILL THE FESTIVAL VILLAGE BE HELD?
The 2024 Festival Village will be held in Noosa Woods, on Claude Batten Drive (at the far end of Hastings St.)

WHAT IS THE AGE LIMIT?
Guests of any age, including kids, can enter the Festival Village, however, only guests aged 18+ can purchase an Adult General Admission (GA) ticket.  This ticket (and coloured wristband) will allow you to purchase alcohol.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
No, but dress is smart casual!  Footwear is a mandatory requirement and our Festival Village is entirely on grass.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
The Noosa Eat & Drink Festival is an all-weather event.  All events will be running as planned and we have wet weather contingencies in place - just in case!

CAN I GIVE MY TICKETS TO A FAMILY MEMBER OR FRIEND?
Yes. If you are no longer able to attend you can transfer your tickets to a family member or friend.

WILL THERE BE A SEARCH AT THE VILLAGE ENTRY?
Yes there will. Any entrant’s belongings may be searched on entry to the event, or during the event. Ticketholders may be required to leave the event if they refuse a request to have their belongings searched, and will not be refunded.

WHAT ITEMS ARE NOT PERMITTED?
Ticketholders cannot bring any seating, food, alcohol, illegal drugs or controlled substances, weapons or other items deemed dangerous into the Festival Village.

Please check this website page before event day for our final 'Conditions of Entry' (listed below).

ARE DOGS ALLOWED IN THE EVENT SITE?
Ticketholders may not bring animals to the event, except disability assistance animals, such as guide dogs, hearing dogs, and other animals trained to assist the Entrant with a disability.

All disability assistance animals must be on a lead at all times while at the event.

IS SMOKING OR VAPING ALLOWED IN THE VILLAGE?
Ticketholders may only smoke and/or vape in a Designated Smoking Area that has signs indicating that smoking is permitted in that designated area.

CAN I EXIT THE VILLAGE AND RETURN LATER?
Yes you can! There will plenty of other events around the region on Saturday & Sunday, so if you need to leave the Village and come back later, you'll just need to keep your wristband on for your return.

ARE THERE ANY COOKING DEMONSTRATIONS AND DO THESE COST EXTRA?

You can watch your favourite celebrity chefs in live cooking demonstrations on our main stage, daily from 11:00am. In 2024, we also have a Celebrity Cooking Competition each day at 3:00pm - see our special guests put their cooking skills to the test!

Every Festival Village ticketholder has access to the main stage, there is no extra cost.

WILL THERE BE MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT AT THE FESTIVAL VILLAGE?

Yes there will! An epic line-up of performers, including DJs and bands, will play live on the main stage from 4:00pm while you enjoy some sundowners! We'll also have guest DJ's playing around the Village throughout the day.

IS THERE PARKING AT THE FESTIVAL VILLAGE?

There is limited parking in Noosa Woods where our Festival Village is located, so we’d suggest catching our free buses, running regularly throughout the weekend on the Go Noosa network. View the 'Plan your trip' website page

We’ll publish timings before event weekend.

A Festival Village ticket allows you to come and go freely from the Festival Village, so you can leave the Village to attend restaurant events, then return afterwards.

I WANT TO PURCHASE A BEACH EVENT TICKET, BUT I’M WORRIED I’LL LATER SEE THE RESTAURANT LINE UP AND WANT TO GO TO SOMETHING ELSE?

Our Friday Opening Party & Festival Sundowner event (Sunday) are scheduled to allow guests time to attend dinner events afterwards. They will start at approx. 4:30pm and finish at 7:00pm. You can also arrive and depart the Beach Events whenever you choose.

If you only purchase one ticket in 2024, make sure it has Festival Village written all over it!

Our weekend-long village, on June 1st & 2nd, is the hub of Noosa Eat & Drink, bringing together Noosa's latest and greatest restaurants, your favourite drinks, world-class chefs, artisan producers, interactive masterclasses and intimate sessions.
