Here are our top 6 ways to get around Noosa:

1. Book a transfer with Airlink Transfers.
2. Travel on a local bus around Noosa’s main thoroughfares. There'll be free buses to / from Hastings St all weekend thanks to Go Noosa (read more below)
3. Jump on and off a ferry, along the river from Noosa Marina to Hastings Street in Noosa Heads, with stops at Noosaville along the way. 
4. Hire a bike and make the most of Noosa's extensive network of bike paths.
5. Taxi ranks are at all major precincts or call on 131 008. Uber is also available.
6. Hire a scooter to zip around town or a car to explore further afield.

Noosa Ferry

Join us on a quintessential Noosa Ferry Cruise. Experience our classic river boats and discover the beautiful Noosa River and its surrounds.

Note: Ferry times will increase during this weekend to every 45 minutes, from 9am - 6pm.

Enjoy the magnificent scenery in a 90-minute, seven stop round trip between Tewantin and Hastings Street including Noosa Sound and Noosaville.

Tickets can be purchased at most stops, online or onboard (credit card only onboard), with one way tickets starting at $5.50. Timetable is available here.

Purchase a great value All Day Pass to hop on and off as many times as you like to explore the area’s beautiful beaches, shops and restaurants, or just use the ferry to get where you need to go stop-to-stop.

Free Weekend Buses

Go Noosa Weekends aims to provide a relaxed and convenient traveling experience that helps locals and visitors better access busy locations at peak traffic and parking times.

The free weekend services also offer a unique way to experience the hinterland and popular day trip attractions such as the Hinterland Adventure Playground, the Butter Factory, Mt Cooroora (Pomona), the Noosa Trail Network and a range of local markets, eateries and shops.

Weekend travel will be free on the 626, 627, 628, 629 and 632 Translink services.

For timetable information on routes 626, 627, 628, 629, and 632 visit Translink or call Translink on 13 12 30.

Please note: Routes 620, 622, 630 and 631 travel outside of the Noosa Shire Council area and are not included in the free service.

Park n Ride

Park & Ride to Hastings Street

Park the car and hop on a free bus. Long stay car parking is available at Tewantin CBD and the Noosa Junction Transit Centre.

Additional buses will be added from 5pm-7pm on Saturday June 1st and from 4pm-6pm on Sunday June 2nd. 

These services will run from Hastings St (Noosa Heads Station) to both Noosa Junction (Noosa Transit Centre) and Tewantin.
